Coming soon: managing events with Luigi
Progress on my next theme, Luigi, is coming along great. Today I wanted to take a moment to show off it’s slick integration with Event Organiser, a powerful, flexible event management plugin.
Event Organiser provides a whole bunch of different views for your events. The one most restaurants will use, however, is the monthly calendar view. With a JavaScript-powered interface, the monthly calendar provides a great overview of your events.
With the Luigi theme, I’ve built a beautiful page to show off each event, with a full-screen map to the location.
Event Organiser is a full-featured event management solution, with recurring events, list views, daily and weekly agendas, drop-in widgets and more. There’s also a pro version with addons for Google Calendar integrations, event bookings, and a whole bunch more great features.
I spent a long time looking for a solid, easy-to-use event platform that I could integrate with my themes. Finally, I found one I’m happy with and I hope you’ll love it too.
